Engr Chukwu joined FADCO Nig Ltd, Lagos which was actively involved in the construction of civil works cell sites for various GSM companies such as MTN, V-Mobile, and Globacom. He also supervised the 10-storEy building at Toyin Street, Lagos, among other supervision, monitoring, and control engagements.

Worked in Clobale Construction Company Ltd Aba, rising to the position of Project Manager in 1999. Handled the design, supervision, monitoring, and delivery of many buildings, roads, and drains in many cities and institutions such as Fed. University of Agriculture, Umuahia. OMPADEC Roads/drains in K-Dere
1992 – 1994
Joined Chel-Water Nig Ltd and rose to the position of Project Engineer. Participated in the planning, project scheduling, design, and development of the Water Supply and Rehabilitation scheme of 342 Field Artillery Brigade, Obinze, and the Awkunanaw Barracks, Enugu. He also took part in the Enugu-Iji-Nike road and water pipeline project.
